“What a miracle! I finally feel like I have my life back!”

When I first came to know about Utah Disc Center, I had been suffering for a year from shooting sharp pain down the back of my leg due to my sciatic nerve on my left side being pinched from a herniated disc. I had been unable to (1) sleep through the night, (2) sit or stand for very long, (3) walk any long distances.  Basically, my life was inhibited by constant pain and it was emotionally, physically, and mentally debilitating.  An orthopedic surgeon had told me that I had three options to help my back pain including medication.  I could do expensive and not guaranteed back surgery, expensive and not guaranteed steroid shots in my back, or physical therapy.  None of these options were going to actually take care of my herniated disc; they were only going to possibly relieve me of the pain due to the pinched nerve.  At that point, I was feeling quite down and without hope of ever finding an answer to my back problem.  That was until I came across an ad online about Utah Disc Center.  When I met with Dr. Kunzler, I was so excited to know that there was a possibility of getting relief from pain, that my disc could heal, and that I could my life back.  After I started the first few treatments of decompression, I was already being relieved of the constant pain and I could sleep through the night! What a miracle! I finally feel like I have my life back.  The process took awhile, but it was worth it and Dr. Kunzler and the staff (Dannelle and Cheryl) have been so positive and encouraging throughout the whole treatment! Before I came into Dr. Kunzler’s office I had severe pain in my lower back, hips and knees. I could not sit on the floor or squat down there was a lot of pain in my hips and knees from squatting. I have a fairly big yard and last fall I could only mow half of my lawn without taking a break and being out of breath. This year I got to the point where I could not mow the lawn at all and had to hire someone to do it for me. I also had a lot of back pain and lack of energy when I would go shopping I had to catch my breath when I got to the car. I started to see Dr. Kunzler and can now say I have been relieved of my pain in the low back and knees. I have also had an increase in my energy and can breathe better. I have had back trouble for 30 years.  I have been going to chiropractors off and on for all these, and I would feel better for awhile, but the pain would always come back.  About 1 year ago I started to have pain and numbness going down my right leg; it got so bad I could hardly walk or stand up for very long.  I went to the chiropractor for about a month, and it did not help.  Then I went to another chiropractor who worked with the muscles for about a month, but that did not work either.  Then I went to my regular doctor and he sent me to physical therapy and told me if that didn’t work he wanted me to have a MRI.
The physical therapy helped a little bit, but not much.  So the doctor ordered the MRI, and he had me go for a spinal injection (steroids), which caused me to have a rash.  I was told there was nothing else that could be done except surgery, but I didn’t want to have surgery.  I was looking for a way to be pain free without surgery, and that is when I saw an advertisement for Utah Disc Center, and heard about the DRX9000 decompression machine.  I made an appointment with Dr. Kunzler, and after his examination he found 2 bulging discs and 1 protruding disc.  He explained how serious my condition was, and what I could expect during my treatment.  I am very thankful for the opportunity to have these treatments.  My pain is almost gone, and I am sure I will be completely pain free with I am through with the treatments.  I want to thank Dr. Kunzler for doing everything he did to help me get better, and I want to thank his staff, Dannelle, Cheryl, and Nicole, they were very professional and helpful and I appreciate them all very much.  It is wonderful to have the pain gone. “If it worked for me it will work for you…”

I have been dealing with lower back pain for sometime; it seemed like the pain would come and then go away.  But in the last week of December 2009, I was out working in my shop and all of the sudden the pain just hit me and it was so bad I had to crawl to the house.  Then finally in the first week of June 2010, I got on the internet and found Utah Disc Center.  So I gave them a call, and they set up an appointment so I could come down and talk to them and they examined me, and then sent me to get a MRI.  After reviewing the MRI, Dr. Kunzler told me that I had two herniated discs and one very big disc protrusion.  Dr. Kunzler went over care plan with the DRX9000, and he told me it would be a nine week treatment plan, Monday thru Thursday.  When I started my treatments, my pain level was at a nine, and after seven pulls my pain level was down to a five.  The good thing about the DRX9000 is that it helps you, but is also very relaxing.
About three-fourths of the way through my nine week treatment plan, Dr. Kunzler and his staff did a check up and they decided to give me an extra couple of weeks on the DRX9000 for the disc protrusion.  After twelve weeks my pain level was gone.  I want to say that Dr. Kunzler and his wonderful staff go the extra mile to make sure you are healed even if your treatments have ended.  If you have lower back pain and your only option is surgery, I would highly recommend that you give Dr. Kunzler, his staff, and the DRX9000 a try, because if it worked for me it will work for you.  I cannot thank Dr. Kunzler and his wonderful staff enough for what they have done for me.

In June of 2008 I had a cochlear implant.  Since that time I could tell that the vertebrae in my neck had gotten really bad.  If I sneezed, the pressure on my neck would cause a severe headache, requiring medication to continue functioning.  I tried chiropractic help, without any positive and lasting results.  Since I started having decompression on my neck, I no longer have any problem when I sneeze, and I have a greater range of motion with no pain.  Thank you Dr. Kunzler, and your great staff.  I am now getting my life back!

When I came to Utah Disc Center, I was a huge skeptic.  I had two protruded discs with an option of surgery with a 50% chance of success, so I did some research and spoke to patients from these testimonials and decided to give it a shot.  When I started my pains was 8-9 on a daily basis and I couldn’t stand up straight or hold my children.  After about 3 weeks, I had my first pain free day in over 5 years.  Now I am almost done and my pain is 0-1 daily.  The staff at Utah Disc Center take care of everything and they are very professional, kind, and attentive.  I would recommend going through Dr. Kunzler’s treatments to anyone with similar problems.

Before coming to Dr. Kunzler, I had a stiff neck and pain for years.  Other chiropractors had tried adjustments and given me exercises, with little success in relieving my pain.  Eventually, the pain went into my shoulder, and also caused numbness there.  I asked my medical doctor to x-ray it to see what was happening.  The x-ray showed several reduces spaces in the neck discs.  He said when it got too uncomfortable the only solution would be neck surgery. 

After reading about the risks, and lack of success for neck surgery, I found a web link to Dr. Kunzler’s practice.  I was pleasantly surprised that his office is just down the street from my place of employment. 

Dr. Kunzler thoroughly examined my problem areas and explained what was happening.  I was surprised that the treatments didn’t hurt!  They actually feel good and are so relaxing that I fall asleep.  It’s the most relaxing part of my day.

The pain and tingling in my neck has gone away.  My neck feels so much better, and actually moves when he adjusts it now.  I needed more treatments then he originally thought, but no cost was added for the additional treatments.  The staff has been very kind and helpful in every way.

Before the DRX9000 treatments I was unable to sit, stand, or work.  I had physical therapy in the past which did nothing.  I am a nurse so being on pain medication was not an option.  I had seen chiropractors in the past, but their adjustments had not helped.  I was so depressed when I came here, but I felt it was worth the money.  They gave me hope.  After the very first few times on the DRX9000, I as sleeping through the night and the pain had greatly decreased.  I could actually start looking for a job and not worry about how miserable I was going to feel.  I feel like a new person.  I recommend this treatment as a first choice for anyone with back problems.  It has helped me not only in the physical, but has given me hope for my future and in returning to the work force.

 excruciating pain I was suffering from…”

In May of 2010 I began having severe pain radiating done my left leg. I was aware I had degenerative disc disease in my lower back but had never had pain from it.  The pain increased in intensity to the point I had trouble walking more than 30 feet or standing for more than 5 minutes.  I rated my pain as a 10/10.

I was referred to a pain specialist who recommended epidural injections of a steroid. The first painful injection did nothing for the leg pain.  A month later I had a second injection and started taking a medication for nerve pain.  Six weeks later I continued to have 7-8/10 leg pain and still could not walk any distance or stand for an extended period of time.  Referral to a back surgeon was suggested.  I elected to continue on the medication but not have another injection and see if things improved.

I received an offer in the mail from Dr. Kunzler to attend a seminar and dinner.  Although skeptical, my wife and I attended and what he told us made sense.  I am a RN with over 30 years experience and had always doubted chiropractic treatments.  However, I did not cherish back surgery and decided to give the DRX9000 treatments and Dr. Kunzler a try.
I am now thoroughly convinced that Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression works! I work as a nursing instructor and stand to lecture for up to 7 hours per day, and am on my feet for 8 hours at a time in the clinical setting.  I could not do this prior to my treatments.  I can now lecture, walk, and enjoy what I do without the excruciating pain I was suffering from.

"I am now in my 8th week and I have no pain anymore."

In 1995 I slipped on some ice and herniated a disc in my back.  After several treatments and exercise routines with the chiropractor, and back therapy, my back was about a pain level of 10 that temporarily went away except for the winter time when the weather was cold.

Last year I experienced a different kind of pain that only walking could help me to relieve. I went back to the chiropractor and had treatments.  After several treatments I was told there was nothing I can do, but I could get a MRI and was referred to a surgeon.  I got the MRI report back and it showed a bulged disc at the L3 and a protruding disc at the L4.  The MRI also showed a little arthritis in the L4.  I knew that surgery was not an option, so I decided to just exercise more and chose to ignore the pain.

Finally this winter I started to get constant pain that never went away even after exercise, walking, or using pain medications.  I heard of spinal decompression before and started asking about it to friends who had used inversion tables, and they claimed it helped them.  I wanted a quicker fix and with my job I am an equipment operator so the work is easy. I decided I couldn’t quit my job and hope to find something better, I decided to research spinal decompression.  I found Dr. Kunzler on the internet, and this amazing machine he called the DRX9000.  So I decided that if it gave me my life back it would be worth the experience and I should give it a try.

I would start traveling an hour each direction from Tooele, Utah to Layton for these treatments.  I first came into his office with a pain level of about 6 or 7. After the 4th or 5th week of treatments I started to see some improvements in my back.  I am now in my 8th week and I have no pain anymore.

I would like to thank Dr. Kunzler and his staff Dannelle, Cheryl, and Nicole for their hard work in making this possible for me.  They were always concerned in how my treatments were going and how I was feeling each day and gave me recommendations when needed.  I now can leave having new friends and would recommend this to anyone having lower back problems like mine.  The cookies and water were very good too!

After suffering with lower back pain for several months, I decided to seek out professional help.  My first course of action was to meet with my family physician.  Upon examination he suggested that the pain was most likely arthritis and that I would just have to live with it. 

My next course of action took me to a Chiropractor who listened to my story and proceeded to prescribe a treatment plan to bring me relief.  Neither doctor suggested a MRI.  I began subjecting myself to the treatments at the Chiropractor’s office.  To my surprise after the treatments I felt worse than before.  I put up with this for almost a month, and then I finally told him that the treatments were worse than the cure.  I also stopped my treatment visits.
It was at this time that I received a letter in the mail outlining a relatively new method of treatment for various back and spine problems.  This led my wife and me to attend the dinner and listen to what Dr. Kunzler had to say. My first appointment with Dr. Kunzler followed, wherein an examination of my back was preformed.  The doctor told me that there appeared to be some major problems with my spine, however, before he would venture to treat the problems he required that I go through an MRI procedure and have the results sent to him.

My next appointment, Dr. Kunzler reviewed the results of the MRI with my wife and me.  The MRI indicated one protruding disc with several other bulging discs.  A treatment plan was developed to meet my needs, and I immediately started the treatment process.

Almost immediately I began to feel a lessening of my lower back pain.  As before I could not stand for any length of time, nor sit comfortably at work, now with the treatments my endurance levels were raised, while my pain levels were decreased.

Dr. Kunzler presents a professional attitude and is very congenial and attentive to my needs.  Office staff members are well trained, more than efficient, and more than capable of fulfilling their assignments in the office.  They provide prompt and efficient ways to achieve the various back treatments necessary to ensure pain relief and relaxation…

I am grateful every day that I was fortunate enough to come in contact with the spinal decompression process. Once a skeptic, but now a believer, it works and relief is at hand.

“I’m glad that we didn’t give up, and the treatments have been a success…”

My case is much different than most cases.  I had surgery 15 years ago to remove a ruptured disc between C-3 and C-4.  The disc was removed and fused with a bone from my hip.  I have not had any problems until about 4 months ago.  I had the same symptoms, numbness and shocking sensations would go down my arms.  I did not want to have surgery again, and so I searched for a less invasive method.  I taught anatomy and physiology and I was skeptical of new procedures.  After a month of treatments I had no results and was very discouraged.  Dr. Kunzler and his staff were always very positive. After two months Dr. Kunzler tried some neck adjustments and changed the angle of the decompression pulls.  I started noticing less and less symptoms of numbness.  I have not had a reoccurrence for two weeks and I am as happy as can be.  I don’t know how long this will last, but Dr. Kunzler assured me, that if it returns I can come back.  How much easier and less invasive this was than having surgery.  I’m glad that we didn’t give up, and the treatments have been a success.

One morning as I rolled over to turn off the alarm, my left shoulder exploded in pain.  It was excruciating.  I saw my doctor and he told me it was most likely a muscle spasm and sent me home with some muscle relaxants.  They didn’t even touch the pain.  Fortunately, a good friend stopped by the house and told me about his doctor who took care of his back some months earlier and said I should try to see him.  Because I had recently talked to someone who had a similar experience with her shoulder and neck, I knew what her surgery involved and I did not want to have the same thing done to my neck.  I made an appointment at Utah Disc Center and after the initial consultation, we scheduled a MRI for the next day and a follow up appointment with Dr. Kunzler the day after that.  Sure enough, the MRI showed an extruded disc at C7.  It was wrapped around a main nerve coming out the left side of my spine.  I didn’t quite understand how decompression worked but I knew that my medical doctor had no idea how to help me.  And I was not about to live on pain meds for an extended period of time.  I was in real pain and I wanted it gone.  Dr. Kunzler seemed to be interested in treating the “cause” of the pain, not just treating the pain.  Spinal Decompression seemed like the best and safest remedy.  We started treatments immediately.  I spent the first week with my left arm over my head because that was the only way to relieve the pinching down my arm.  By the end of 6 treatments, I could keep my arm down.  The decompression table became my best friend.  Each week I experienced less and less pain.  Dannelle and Cheryl were always very encouraging, positive, and happy to answer any questions that I had.  Before you think that it sounds too good to be true, let me assure you that it isn’t an overnight fix.  I followed doctor’s orders to the tee with bed rest, ice therapy, supplements and more.  Gradually over the course of two months or so, I have lost my pain and regained full use of my arm and full range of neck movement.  I am myself again, even better.  If you have back or neck pain that is stealing your life, don’t waste time and money on remedies that only cover up or delay the pain.  Get right to the cause of the pain and experience real relief.  I did, and I will always be grateful to Dr. Kunzle rand his competent staff.

I am a 65 year old woman.  Thirty-eight years ago I fell sown a full flight of stairs resulting in a compression of my cervical discs and a hairline fracture in my fifth lumbar vertebrae.  Ever since this accident I have suffered varying degrees of pain continuously.  I have sought help from traditional medicine doctors and alternative medicine practitioners to no avail.  Because I have a high pain tolerance I have been able to live a fairly normal life – raising seven children, participating in civic and church affairs, and doing quite a bit of demanding physical work.

The sciatic nerve pain went away by the second pull, and I was off all pain meds within the first week…”

I am 53 years old, mother of 7, grandmother of 10, and have always been very active all my life horseback riding, skiing, mountain biking, etc. until January 2010.  At that time I injured my back at work lifting and moving shipment boxes.  The MRI came back with a disc protrusion at L5-S1 and T-4.  Since the injury, I’ve gone for physical therapy treatments, ER three times, admitted to the hospital, sent home the next day on a morphine patch, and seen six back doctors.  One said to quit my job which I was not going to do, being the store manager, and he said it was not serious enough for surgery.  Another pain management doctor put me on Percocet, lyrcia, volatarem, lidoderm (pain patch), celebrex, and a caudal epidural  which was torture and I couldn’t sit down for over 3 months.  My last doctor said injections was the only option and I knew it would only mask the pain, not fix it.

The pain was progressively getting worse.  I was taking 4 to 5 Percocet a day, on STD from my job and wondering if I would ever get my life back.  I was desperate for HELP and thank to WebMD, I found Dr. Kunzler’s office.  The office is in Layton, UT and I live in Heber (1 ½ hour drive away).  My husband and I both went to the free consultation.  The next day I started treatment on the DRX9000, almost four months after injuring my back.  The sciatic nerve pain went away by the second pull, and I was off all pain meds within the first week.
The office staff is incredible! They are the most warm and caring office I have ever been to.  They do not let you leave until you are PAIN FREE.  Dr. Kunzler and his staff especially Dannelle have helped bring sunshine to lots of very painful days.  Thank you!

On June 11, 2010 I got out of bed with an excruciating pain in my lower back.  I had a sharp stabbing pain down my right leg and my  hamstring was almost unbearable.  I seemed to always have a burning pain and numbness on my right foot.  No matter how much I tried, I was never able to find a comfortable sleeping position.  I was taken to Urgent Care where they referred me to a physical therapist.  For two weeks I attended, and my condition worsened.  I was then referred to Spine and Disk Treatment in Murray, but that seemed to make things worse as well.  Before being scheduled for a MUS (Manipulation Under Sedation) I wanted a second opinion.  My co-worker then told me about Utah Disc Center.  Since meeting Dr. Kunzler, he have been fantastic.  My very first appointment was amazing! His first pull, the pain was gone in my leg.  My condition since then has progressed wonderfully.

This is my last treatment, and I am very hopeful that when my treatments are complete, my foot drop will be much better.  Dr. Kunzler and his staff have been truly amazing.  I do have faith in Dr. Kunzler, and this treatment that it has changed my condition and my life dramatically.  It is “faith that can move a mountain, for faith without works, is dead.”

“I have my life back and I am pain free!”

I was somewhat skeptical about spinal decompression when I first heard about it from Dr. Kunzler, probably because I had not heard about it previously.  I had already received numerous treatments on a traction table, but with zero results.  I had been seeing two different chiropractors for some time and getting regular massages with little results.  Additionally, I tried yoga and stretching.  All of these things seemed to help some, but only provided temporary relief, not permanent change.

I then went to a doctor who took some x-rays.  H e was very concerned about me and asked me to have an MRI done, which I did.  When the results from the MRI came back, he referred me to a specialist who would go over them with me.  When I went in he said I had one of the worst discs he had seen and said I either needed to have epidural or surgery.  I didn’t want to do either, but after a few weeks of pain I opted for the epidural.  Unfortunately it did very little for me.  I had tired a few different pain pills and anti-inflammatory pills, but only Lortab seemed to do much and I didn’t want to be on that for the rest of my life, I’m only 35.  I was eager to see if there was another alternative to surgery.

On my initial consultation I was very impressed with Dr. Kunzler’s comfortable office, his staff and the conviction with which Dr. Kunzler presented his all encompassing rehabilitation program.  I felt that he understood my condition and had a plan of action to fix it, which was a great relief as none of the other doctors I had seen were so in tune with how I felt nor did they have a proven program to fix it.  They just wanted to try this or try that and see what happened.  I was impressed to see the lengths Dr. Kunzler has gone through to present a comprehensive program and equipment covering all aspects of the healing process for spinal injuries.  I feel that Dr. Kunzler is genuinely concerned with patient’s health, comfort and complete healing from start the finish.

The treatment process seemed long at times, but Dr. Kunzler and his staff are very encouraging and optimistic.  They are sincerely interested in your well being and great to work with.  I now feel like a new person.  I have my life back and I am pain free!

Prior to coming into Utah Disc Center, I had lived with chronic neck pain and stiffness for many years; the kind that was a dull ache at the base of my neck.  It was so painful that I could think of little else.  Chiropractors could offer no real help.  I got a MRI and saw a spinal doctor who said I had disc problems and would probably need surgery soon.  I found Dr. Kunzler, thank goodness! “There has been great improvement in my condition…”

After experiencing tingling and numbness in my feet and lower legs, I went to my medical doctor.  He told me the problem was related to age and may require surgery later.  Then I went to a chiropractor and did have some short term relief, but the problem returned.
Later, my daughter asked me to go with her to a workshop talking about spine problems.  Her husband had lower back problems, but could not attend, so I went in his place.  Needless to say, Dr. Kunzler explained disc problems that seemed related to my feet and leg problems.

I’ve had a long-standing lumbar injury, which in recent years has been relatively pain free.  Or, so I thought!  During the past ten years I have experienced intermittent leg pain and hip pain, more recently manifesting itself as sciatica.  It began to interfere with my daily walking and exercise program.  My own self-diagnosis was that the problem lay in the old herniated disk, not the hip/legs.  This was confirmed by Dr. Kunzler and the MRI he ordered.  I had some minor skepticism, but the principle seemed sound, so I committed to the DRX9000 program in early March, 2010.  After 38 treatments, I am very satisfied with the results.  Over the past two weeks, I have started exercise and walking again, and am doing about 2 miles daily without pain.  Occasionally I will experience a minor pain, more like a discomfort, but the recovery is very fast…usually a short rest will resolve it.

My back has been painful for over 30 years! For anyone who is “SKEPTICAL”, “SITTING ON THE FENCE” or “NOT SURE” whether or not to give Dr. Michael Kunzler, the DRX9000 Non-Surgical Cervical/Spinal Decompression machine a try, PLEASE DON’T HESITATE another minute!  In the very beginning, I too, was SKEPTICAL.  My father, is a retired Orthopedic Surgeon, two of my brothers are doctors, one a Neuro-Surgeon, and one a Thoracic/Vascular Surgeon.  Believe me, I respect “traditional medicine”, but, it is NOT a perfect science, and they don’t have ALL THE ANSWERS. DON’T allow your skepticism to keep you in pain another day or possibly lead you to make a mistake on the road to neck and back pain relief. I ventured off the typical or normal path of TRADITIONAL MEDICINE, and it was, without a doubt, one of the BEST INVESTMENTS and most INTELLIGENT decisions I have made for my overall health and wellbeing. Going the route with Dr. Michael Kunzler, and the DRX 9000, is a much smaller price to pay than one would pay with “traditional medical treatment” and the REWARDS and BENEFITS that you will reap are HUGE. Before coming to Utah Disc Center, I was suffering from lower back pain and severe right let pain. It had become so bad that it was increasingly getting harder to walk and I was limping all the time. I brought my MRI with me to the consultation since I had already been seeing my family doctor for my back problems. In the past few years I had been to physical therapy and was also receiving spinal injections. They worked for a while, but never worked well enough to help my condition. My MRI showed that I had a central disc protrusion at L5-S1, moderate annular bulging disc at L4-L5, L3-L4 central disc protrusion, and an L2-L3 broad based disc protrusion (all with mild to moderate hypertrophic facet disease). Lastly, L1-L2 had a small disc protrusion so serious I would eventually need surgery—and soon. The protrusions were putting pressure on spinal nerves and were causing my leg to fall asleep (especially when sitting), get numb and tingly, and have muscle spasms. It was so annoying that I couldn’t make it stop. The only thing that would help was to take Loratabs every day to stop the sensations. I felt it was going to be that way forever and I didn’t know what to do about it. I went on the internet to get some answers when I came across Utah Disc Center. “Dr. Kunzler’s expertise and positive support in treating my 25 years

About 25 years ago I suffered severe whip lash injury after a hospital surgery. While still unconscious hospital aides moved me from the surgical table to a hospital bed but did not support my head. My head dropped to my left side like the weight of a bowling ball and ripped all the muscles on the left side of my neck and the back of my left shoulder. Three vertebrae were also twisted sideways and only through the adjustment of a chiropractic doctor was some relief provided. In addition, I suffered a second whiplash to the same area when rear-ended in an auto accident. For the next 25 years I had suffered nerve pain, muscle spasms in my neck and left shoulder and an enormous knot at the top of my left shoulder caused by the herniated discs in my neck. Monthly chiropractic adjustments provided some relief but did not resolve my pain. “After a few treatments my pain was gone…”

Severe lower back pain started bothering me in 1991. At that time, my primary care physician sent me to a pain specialist where I received epidural steroid shots in my back. This worked great for a while at relieving the pain but by the end of 1992 I was having shots every three months and they only helped for about four weeks before the pain returned. There was nothing more that could be done to relieve the pain. At that time, I found a doctor that was doing decompression and after a few treatments my pain was gone, and it was all done without any painful shots. I was without pain for fourteen years when suddenly at the end of 2010 I started having pain again. I immediately sought out the location where my previous decompression treatments were done, but found after the first treatment that he had changed all his equipment and it wasn’t a real decompression machine like the DRX9000 but was merely traction. Being disappointed with trying to get decompression treatments, I visited with my primary care physician and he prescribed physical therapy for my back. This felt good but after two months I was still suffering. I had my MRI examined by a neurological surgeon who said there was nothing he could do to solve my problem and recommended I go see doctors at a spine rehabilitation facility where I could get some epidural steroid shots. I followed his counsel and by the middle of January had my first shot. After four weeks I found that the shot didn’t help with the pain as the promised it would. We received an invitation in the mail from Utah Disc Center for a free dinner and discussion on decompression treatments. The wife and I decided to attend their Sept 18th presentation and were very impressed with Dr. Kunzler’s knowledge of the problems associated with the back and compressed discs. We took him up on his free consultation, and after the consultation decided to move ahead with their recommended treatments. After just a week of treatments the pain I was dealing with was gone. Each time they moved to a different disc I experienced a day or two of discomfort, which soon went away.  I have been basically pain free now for several weeks. It worked for me fifteen years ago and worked for me again. Dr. Kunzler and especially his staff, who worked with me on a daily basis, were terrific. The office was always inviting. The smell of fresh baked cookies, ice cold water, and a warm welcome made each treatment something to look forward to.

I went into Utah Disc Center with a 30-year-old low spinal injury.  On a scale of 1 to 10 my pain most days ranged from 7 to 10.  I could not get out of bed in the morning without some type of pain.  I signed up for a nine-week program to try and correct my two bulging discs and one protruding disc.  At the end of the nine-week series my pain level had dropped to about a 4 or 5.  They kept me in the program at no extra cost and continued to decompress my spine.  After another five weeks, my pain level had dropped to a 1 or 2 and most days I get out of bed with no pain at all.  I would say that for me this was the best move that I made.

One thing that really impressed me was how the technicians are always asking how I am doing.  They really talk with you and find out how things are going.  If you have questions they take the time to fully explain the answer so that you understand and are at ease.  They are some of the most caring people that I have had the pleasure to work with.

My lower back was in severe pain and I was essentially immobile.  Dr. Kunzler prescribed rest before treatment to reduce inflammation.  I returned after the weekend and began treatment on the DRX9000.  There was instant relief after the first session and I was able to walk relatively pain free.  My condition continues to improve even though my back has been a problem off and on again for 35 years.  In retrospect, I believe that if I had started with Dr. Kunzler and the DRX when the condition became intolerable, I would have avoided surgery (two years ago) and been in better shape today.  Everyone at the clinic is very knowledgeable and takes that extra step to make certain that each visit is satisfactory…..and the cookies are good too!

I’ve had nagging back pain for approximately 12 years. Also, about three or four times a year, while lifting or pulling around the farm, I would experience and excruciating sharp pain in my back. It would cause me to fall to the ground for a while and then crawl to the house. The pain would be unbearable, but after a day or two I could just continue to endure the pain. I love to farm and ranch, but reality set in that I may have to change professions. I vigorously studied options, surgery being out of the question due to its failure rate. Last Thanksgiving, I watched my brother play volleyball like I hadn’t seen in years. He had just finished non-surgical Spinal Decompression from Dr. Kunzler. I called Dr. Kunzler, and Dannelle let me know I could get an MRI and an appointment immediately. The MRI showed a torn disc, several bulged discs, and also some inflammation of the muscles. In October of 2008 I woke up with a stabbing pain in my upper back. I visited my local chiropractor a few times, and received no relief. I then visited my family physician. He injected several muscles with cortisone and prescribed muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory meds. He even manipulated my spine. My back felt better for a while but shortly thereafter the pain began to get worse. It began to affect my left arm and hand with pain and numbness. My hand and arm were getting weaker with each passing day. I returned to my doctor and he prescribed steroids for treatment of inflammation. He recommended me to a neurologist and set up an MRI. “I have had relief of pain and stiffness without any drugs, shots, and/or patches…”

Dr. Kunzler and Staff: I had been experiencing shoulder and neck pain over the years. Finally to the point of when driving vehicles, motorcycles, pushing lawn movers/snow blowers and participating in sports, i.e. fishing, golfing, boating, etc., could not perform these functions for very long periods of time without being in pain and needed assistance from others. Started to take medications such as pain pills, patches along with heat and/or cold packs. Then resorted to cortisone shots in order to even drive motorcycles, vehicle or participate in lifting during household responsibilities and any kind of sports. Of course any of the above was only temporary fix nothing for long term benefits and effected stomach, cell problems, scaring build up, etc. Doctors talked about eventually having surgery for relief of symptoms.  Since starting in November 2008 with DRX 9000 treatments along with vitamin supplements, exercises, correct posture, getting in/out vehicle, etc., I have had relief of pain and stiffness without any drugs, shots, and/or patches. "I honestly feel I have been given a new life……"

My pain started in February after a really bad fall on some black ice. At first the pain was not horrible but, by the end of February it was. I started taking Tylenol and Advil. I was taking somewhere between 18 and 24 pills almost every day. I knew that I could not continue this forever. I started talking with friends and family for advice. They suggested physical therapy or cortisone shots. In April I searched the Internet on Web MD and put in my symptoms. It came back as a bulging or herniated disc, Utah Disc Center then popped up. I read about it and decided to request their materials. I came in on April 14th and learned about the DRX9000. It worked more that a little bit. I no longer take any medications for pain. I honestly feel I have been given a new life and I am extremely grateful to Dr. Kunzler and his staff. "Life is great once again……."

After suffering for 20 years with back problems, with the past 1-2 with constant pain, I finally decided to have it looked at. I was not able to sleep through the night due to the pain, I was up 3-4 times per night. In the morning when I needed to get up, the pain was so severe some days that it would take me up to 40 minutes just to be able to stand up straight and get dressed. I also sit all day at my job. My lower spinal discs (L3, L4, and L5) have deteriorated with my L3 disc being broadly extruded and causing severe sciatic and lower back pain. I have tried shots and medications, but avoided surgery for fear of making it worse. I tried some traction, 12 treatments, but they were ineffective. In my 82 years I have had periodic episodes of lower back pain, usually of short duration. Do you have sharp back pain? Then don't hesitate to meet Dr. Kunzler. Most back pain sufferers have no idea how to eliminate their pain with no surgery. The DRX9000 does relieve pain! First of all, I need to say "thanks" to Dr. Kunzler and his lovely staff Dannelle and Meagan. Not only for giving me devotional care, but for being very friendly like my own family.

I had suffered for more than 8 months with my back; my life seemed to be going away and I felt doomed to rest my whole life. My back pain was so bad, I could not stand straight upright and walk, and I could not sleep in the night (I had to sleep sitting in a chair). So I visited a doctor of physical medicine and rehabilitation who recommended steroid injections. I agreed to do so, but the pain came back after three days from having the injection. I met that doctor again, and he said, "You need more injections. If the second injection doesn't work, you need surgery." I refused to have surgery and cancelled the appointment.

Yes, I was skeptical about the DRX9000, I couldn't see how decompression could correct the problem. "I felt no pain between my shoulder blades since the 3rd visit…"

I have had pain in my middle back for years. I'd seen my doctor about it on numerous occasions. At one point, a few years ago, I had pain radiating down my right arm and I lost most of my strength in that arm. A quick misdiagnosis of a thoracic disc issue and a prescription for physical therapy gave short-term relief of the symptoms. But the underlying issue with my spine was not resolved. I knew there was still damage that would need to be repaired eventually. But the prospect of spinal surgery was so unappealing to me that I was more willing to deal with the pain than to have someone cut into my back.

I drive a lot in my job. Recently, I started experiencing the same pain as before, but this time in my left arm. I was also experiencing tingling and numbness in my tricep and hand. There was no position that I could get into while driving that would relieve the discomfort I was feeling. Luckily for me, I had recently seen an ad in the paper for the DRX9000 and Dr. Kunzler
During the initial consultation Dr. Kunzler informed me that my problem was not in my back, but in my neck. He performed the motion x-ray on me and found more damage than expected. An MRI found a serious protrusion of the C4 disc and also a less serious concern with the C5 disc. They also reported issues with ligaments and foraminal openings in that area. The motion x-ray found that my neck curvature was reversed and that some of my vertebrae had slipped out of position. Dr. Kunzler was convinced that I had been in some sort or an accident, which I had not, and very concerned about the severity of the condition of my neck. However, he was also very confident that he could help me, most likely permanently.

He explained to me that the pain in my middle back that I've experienced for many years was also caused by the issue with my neck. He laid out a treatment plan that involved pulling me off the road for the proposed duration of my treatment. Needless to say, I was reluctant. However, his extreme confidence in his ability to correct my neck problems, and the prospect of relief without surgery, won me over. The plan involved treatment for all the neck issues, not just the disc issues.

I've not felt the pain between my shoulder blades since the 3rd treatment. The pain radiating down my left arm was all but gone after the 6th treatment. By the end of my 25 scheduled treatments all of the physical symptoms that I was experiencing were gone. My neck has begun to return to its proper curvature and my posture continues to improve.
I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Kunzler has the knowledge and experience that allowed him to accurately diagnose and treat my neck problems and I am forever grateful. But he couldn't have done it without his wonderful staff. Dannelle, Meagan, Page, and Nicole made me feel comfortable from the start and they treated me like a friend on every visit. To Whom It May Concern,

If you are in any pain, you have found the right place. I was in pain for about eight weeks and it was just getting worse. I thought like many of you that it would get better if I just relaxed and did not push it so hard. I tried to think of what I have done different that I have in the past. I was to the point I could not sit, sleep, or find any comfortable position. I am an elementary school counselor, and I am on my feet a good portion of the day. I have to sit and meet with students and parents. I am 6'4'' and pack a good-sized frame of 280 pounds. As an elementary school counselor, I am on my feet most of my workweek. When I am not on my feet, I am sitting in a group or at the computer. I have been involved in my doctorate the past few years so the computer time has been for hours sometimes multiple days at a time. I had a counselor conference to go to in Denver this past June and decided if I was going to be on a plane I needed to do something before I went.

I came in to see the Utah Disc Center after receiving my packet in the mail. Nicole is superb in her handling of the front office and was very pleasant to talk too. I filled out the paperwork and she said just have a seat and we will be right with you. That is not what I wanted to hear! I was there because I could not sit. I wish she would have just said, stand by and we will be with you. When I am standing, I am much more threatening because of my size. I had a tour of the office and all the things they do to help.

I was then introduced to Dr. Kunzler, and the first thing he asked is how I was feeling? I thought, well, should I really tell him or can he see how I am feeling today. I was standing and he is a bit smaller than I am, I am sure I look like I was in some pain. He asked me if I wanted to sit and I said I would rather stand. He said that is just fine, and we got to know each other a little better. He is so great in his approach and explanation of the processes and what will happen. I remember he said he could help me take off my shoes and socks if that would help. I gladly let him do that part because bending was almost impossible as many of us remember. He did some tests and I of course failed most of them. He said he would like me to get another MRI to see exactly what was going on inside me. I had a car accident 18 years ago and was rear ended by someone going 40mph while I was stopped at a stop sign.

I completed the necessary medical requirements and returned three days later. I met with Dr. Kunzler again with my wife this time and he showed us the X-rays and MRI report. He said I listed my pain as moderate and in reality; it should have been 9 or 10 for most people. Nicole came in and explained the procedures and we decided I needed to do something before I left for Denver the next day.

We went out and Dr. Kunzler said we will get you warmed up and get started with wobble chair right now. I could not sit and he wanted me to sit on that vibrating wobble chair. It did not even look inviting. It shot pain all up and down my leg and back and the 10 minutes lasted at least 30 minutes it seemed.

I met Sue and watched her use the muscle gun on other patients to help them relax. It is the best part of my therapy. I love her gentle touch and efficient way she makes each of us feel like we are the only patient that matters.

Dannelle is amazing in her willingness to make one feel comfort and knows just how to put a big or small person in place gently harnessing them and putting the right amount of pressure on them while they lay on the table. Her smile is always pleasant and her knowledge of her career is to notch.
After the pull that day, Dr. Kunzler asked me how it felt and I said, I had no pain in my leg or back! Wow, I was impressed and my wife was even more impressed. I went to Denver in no pain and thought it would probably be back. I was gone five days and kept my back belt on with ice at night before I went to bed. I cam back and still felt better than I had for a couple months.

After my second pull, I was in ZERO pain and have been ever since! This is the best thing I have ever done and I call the Disc Pain Staff the "Good hands gals" because I know I am in the best hands possible for the treatment I need. Now I drink my water faithfully everyday. I have a 64oz jug I bought at Macey's for $2.00 and I drink three jugs a day and take my mineral salt twice a day and I am a new person. I just turned 54 this month and I feel like I am at least 10 years younger thanks to the "Good hands" at the Utah Disc Pain Clinic!

I had been treated for low back pain since before I moved to Utah in 1975. Most family doctors treated me with pain medication, bed rest and heat, but the pain would soon return when I was up and moving around again. In 1988 a well known Neurosurgeon in Salt Lake took x-rays, and said I had a pinched nerve and he could cur the painful condition with surgery. I missed ten weeks of work getting back to where I could sit all day at my accounting job. The pain in my lower back didn't completely go away, so they sent me to a therapist and then to an exercise class to strengthen the muscles. The main point of this story is, sooner or later the pain would always return. Then one day Dr. Kunzler sent me an invitation to try decompression on the DRX9000. My first impression was "yeah right" like that will work when nothing else did. Then I received the 3rd and it said, "final" invitation. I decided maybe I should check it out. My back condition had been worsening consistently for a few years before I really got serious about looking into treatment. For the past thirty years I have been a heavy equipment mechanic and operator. I am 53 years old and I love playing and spending time with my four grandchildren. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, and riding ATVS with my family in the mountains close to my hometown of Morgan, UT.

My life changed about a year and a half ago while I was at work and performing a routine task that I had done a hundred times before, when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my lower back. My back pain, before this, had always been remedied with a chiropractic treatment. But after several treatments the pain was not getting better this time, it was getting worse. I could not bend over to tie my shoes, I could hardly walk, and it was torture to get out of bed and get dressed. Instead of sleeping, I was spending more nights in my recliner than in bed. After about a week of pain that I cannot describe, I went into see my doctor and x-rays showed that I had two herniated discs in my L4 and L5 area. After trying a couple of sets of injections, the pain soon came back and it seemed to be getting worse with each passing day. I was told that surgery was the only option I had left. I was devastated, and I felt myself slipping into the depths of depression and I worried that my quality of life was over as well as my ability to provide for my wife and family. I have known several people who had back surgery, and I knew that surgery was not always a guarantee for complete pain relief or a full recovery.

"I am pain free!! I am able to do just about everything again…"

We purchased a small piece of property 20 years ago. As a hobby, I had visions of a green pasture with fat beef cattle grazing it. It took us about 5 years of saving money before we acquired a tractor and steel pipe for custom fencing. It was while I was carrying two pieces of heavy well-casing pipe (or fencing) that my back gave out. All of a sudden extreme pain shot through my lower back. I immediately dropped the pipe and fell to the ground. It took some time before I could get up. I was able to half-walk half-crawl to the tractor and drape myself over the font tire. It took 10 minutes before I could muster sufficient strength to walk back to the house because the pain was so severe. In the next several days I could do very little, except grit my teeth. I went to a doctor and was told I was probably having muscle spasms. It took two weeks of rest before I could put on my own shoes. I felt helpless. After 15 months of very slow mending, or learning to live with the pain, I ventured a return to my sporting passion of snow skiing only to re-injure my back while pounding moguls. This time I visited a different doctor who took only one x-ray and determined I was just having spasms. The whole mending process started over again but after 2 years I felt like I could return to snow skiing. It was while I was powder skiing in Northern Idaho that my back gave out again. I had pinched nerves and simple things like waking, sleeping, sitting, and getting dressed were a major undertaking. No more volleyball, basketball, running, skiing, etc., for another 15-24 months. This laborious cycle of getting a little better followed by re-injury continue over the years. The majority of pain seemed to focus on my right side. My body naturally tried compensating and as a result, my hip and neck started to experience frequent out-of-alignment conditions, prompting trips to local chiropractors.

I had numerous friends and acquaintances that had back problems also, however, they decided to take the surgical approach to pain relief. Of the nine individuals that I knew that had surgery, only one received long-term relief and improvement. The remaining eight individuals suffered more after their surgery than they did before their surgery; pain, scar tissue, restricted movement, etc. The odds of success by surgery were not good enough for me, so I decided to live with pain and discomfort.
A few months ago I was working on a field loading bales of hay onto my trailer and then transporting them to my barn for stacking. The pain was so extreme that I had to lie down and watch my wife and daughter finish stacking the hay bales.

After the tenth injection, my doctor told me that I should learn to live with the pain or try back surgery. The surgery has a 50% success rate. During this time, one of my closest friends was going through the same back pain and problems. He elected to have the surgery and the six weeks of healing turned into six months, and to this day he is still in pain and has the injections every two weeks just to make it through each day. Watching what he went through made the decision on surgery and easy one for me. No way was I having surgery.

Over the next six months I lived with the pain. The pain progressed to the point of me not being able to walk 75 yards without sitting down. That is when I decided I needed to do something, and was getting ready to schedule surgery and take the 50% chance of recovering.

This is when I learned about the DRX9000 and Dr. Kunzler. Suzanne at Dr. Kunzle'r office sent me some information and testimonials in the mail. It all sounded too good to be true and I did not respond to the mailing. About two weeks later, Dannelle called from Dr. Kunzler's office and talked to my wife. She asked if I had received the packet and if I had a chance to read through it. To make a long story short, I had an appointment to meet Dr. Kunzler and his staff.

When I went to the appointment, I was truly impressed watching the staff work at a very high pace. They were always under control and worked with a very caring manner. All the patients seemed to enjoy being there. After learning about the DRX9000 and being told by Dr. Kunzler that I was a good candidate, the ball was in my court. The biggest obstacle for me to get over was the cost and the fact that insurance did not cover the treatments. I could not undertand why the insurance companies would bay $2,000.00 every two weeks for injections or for the $50,000.00 or so back surgery and would not cover this treatment. I guess you need to be running for public office, because the politicians are the only people who could make sense of that logic.

I made a decision to start treatments. If it worked, then it would be worth every penny, so it was worth it to me to take a chance. The first three weeks I did not have good results. I was frustrated because I saw other patients improving when I wasn't. In the fourth or fifth week I had one day without pain! I cannot even begin to describe my feelings at that time.
Between the fifth and seventh week I had good days and bad days, I am heeling, I have had four straight days without pain as of today.
So in a summary, I believe this can give people their lives back! If you are considering this treatment, I ask you to listen to someone who was very skeptical and is now full believer!

The DRX machine will do everything they say it will with the right operator. I believe that Dannelle is the best of the best and would be willing to bet that the positive results are higher in Dr. Kunzler's office than any other office in the U.S.

The care provided by Dr. Kunzler and his staff was better than any I have ever received at any other doctor's office. Every patient gets individual care, concern and friendship from the staff. They ALL know their jobs and excel in the work they do.

You will need to take responsibility for yourself and follow all the instructions you get from Dr. Kunzler. If you stay upbeat like Dr. Kunzler and his staff, you will see results. I never heard if, always when I get better.

I believe I am 70% better and the rest is up to me to continue following my instructions and not doing too much too soon. When I go hunting in two weeks I will stay in camp a lot, but I will be able to say when I go hunting next year, not if I go hunting next year!

I want to thank Dr. Kunzler, Dannelle, Sue and Nicole for all they have done for me. You are all the best there is. Also, the cookies were pretty good too!

My name is Matt Oyler and I am 22 years old. I started having back problems when I was 18. At 19, I had surgery to correct two herniated discs. After my surgery, I never felt like my back was completely corrected. In December of 2006, the pain began to increase because of my job working with concrete. The pain got progressively worse and worse to the point where I had to leave my job. I was pretty much bed ridden. I began to gain weight because of my lack of activity. Some nights, the pain was so great that I would lose sleep. My father decided I needed to get help. He began searching for different treatments. After working almost 40 years as a hospital registered nurse, I retired at 55. I saw my future as dancing, sewing, grandchildren, travel, and working a few hours a week for spending money. This future disintegrated with the gradual onset of low back pain, radiating into my left buttock, hip, thigh, and shin. The pain progressed until I was taking as much over the counter anti-inflammatory medication as I dared, without relief.
I went to my primary care physician who ordered an MRI and narcotic pain pills. The MRI showed bulging in three discs, with pressure on my sciatic nerve.

My husband had done previous research on the internet about DRX therapy for his son, who had undergone minor back surgery at 18 for disc problems. The surgery helped him temporarily, but at 21 the pain was back. With DRX therapy, his pain and been eliminated.

In January 2010 while shopping at Wal-Mart, I was overcome with extreme pain in my lower back, so bad that I had to hang onto the shopping cart in order to stand up. I have had lower back pain for several years, it would hurt to stand up, put my socks and shoes on, and when I stood up, I did not know if I would even be able to walk. The pain was constantly there while I was mowing the lawn, working in the garden, or whatever I was doing.

I would get real bad leg pains from the top of my leg down to my knees. At times, I thought I would literally pass out from the extreme pain. I was unable to sleep at night because of the leg pain and the back pain.
Then one day in February while reading the paper, I noticed an ad to "Stop Back Pain". Therefore, I made necessary arrangements to meet with Dr. Kunzler and find out what was necessary to stop the back pain. First, I had to have an MRI and X-rays of my back, which results showed that five discs were herniated. Dr. Kunzler confirmed that my back was in bad condition.

My pain started about 18 months ago and I was taking arthritis pills for it. Last year about this time, I found out that the arthritis pills had caused ulcers and I had to quit taking them. I have a high tolerance for pains, so I tried to go on with my life in spite of the discomfort. It just kept getting worse and we were in the process of building a new home and moving. I was lifting heavy things the pain was getting worse. My son is a Radiologist and I mentioned it to him. He told me to stay away from surgery.
In the fall I cut out an advertisement in the newspaper about lower back pain. At this time I was really hurting and especially if I spent time in the car or sitting. I would have to stand and then convince myself to take the first few steps. It was bad! It was mainly in the lower back area but very sharp pains. I was not sleeping well at night and I would toss and turn until I found a comfortable positions. Still I thought it would go away.
Finally my husband told me I had to do something so I called on the advertisement. They sent me information about the DRX9000 and I read it and put it in the drawer. Every now and then I would get another note or more information from them. It went in the same file titled "BACK PAIN." I knew it would go away if I was patient.

I want you to know your treatment has gotten rid of the hick up in my gitty up. I HAVE MY LIFE BACK!!!

For the past 18 months, I have been suffering from back problems that were progressively getting worse. During this time I have been to nine doctors, three specialists, the hospital E.R. and gone through a complete series of cortazone therapy, traction, a procedure to attempt to relieve my pain - severing some pain receptors and nerves that were affected, physical therapy, acupuncture and several other procedures which were supposed to help. NONE DID, and I was getting progressively worse. The "specialists" told me that they were not even sure where my pain was coming from. Well, I knew. All the doctors said the same things regarding my MRI - "the report just did not show that I should be in the amount of pain that I was in." The pain was incessant, never stopping, day, night, it was relentless. But it did continue to get worse. If I did anything except sit perfectly straight or lie down, I would pay for it in amounts of increased pain. I had NO quality of life.

I am the Band Director at Roy Junior High School, and have been there for seventeen years. I realized that I would have to retire by Christmas at 42 years old, not being able to make it through the school year, or undergo surgeries. I was told that they had a 42% - 46% chance of success and over a 50% chance of doing nothing or making my problems worse, or I could continue taking the pain management medications which were destroying my kidneys, liver, and bowels. The doctors and pharmacists also told me, if I kept taking them in the amounts I had to "just to exist", I would be dead within ten years or less.

I had been placed on a pain management program including the drugs, high doses of a pain blocker, anti-inflammatory and as much pain killers as I needed, Oxycontin and Oxycodine. On a good day, I would have to take at least 170mg. And on a bad day around 230mg of the pain killers. At band camp I had to increase the doses to over 300mg just to get by. These doses were all alarmingly high but did not stop the pain. They helped make it barely tolerable. If something was not done, I would lose the ability to work, then walk and continued and increasing agonizing pain, then death.
I read an article about the DRX9000 treatment system and was intrigued. There was contact information, so I called. After all, I had spent over $8,000.00 just in insurance co-pays and more trying anything to help alleviate the pain. I was favorably impressed by Dr. Kunzler's staff. Nicole was exceptionally nice, friendly and welcoming.

When you are in as much pain for as long as I was, your mood tends to be on the grouchy side. The friendly and caring atmosphere in Dr. Kunzler's office was a very nice change.

I was impressed by Dr. Kunzler, who was very definite, telling me that if he could not help me, he would tell me why not, and if he could help me, he would also tell me why and how. Dr. Kunzler's diagnosis started, "Your back is jacked up!" I found out that I had three bulging disks, facet syndrome that made my spine look like a row of "X's" rather than a straight line, and some spinal degeneration.

Dannelle has been an angel from heaven, and Dr. Kunzler has been extremely helpful with my therapy. THEY GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK. I can play with my seven year old daughters again. I can continue my teaching career. All of my students are grateful for my recovery as well.

And they have had great interest in their, "favorite teacher continuing to teach their favorite classes." I can continue to play music and I can enjoy life again.

When I first read about the DRX9000 machine, I immediately got interested. I remember thinking how amazing this breaking technology could be if the machine were located close by, and if it were utilized by someone who was trained well enough to fully exploit all of this space age technology. Some years ago I had read an article about a jet from Hill that crashed in the west desert. One of the thought provoking conclusions in the article was that the real challenge in the defense world was to have pilots competent enough to handle the tremendous technological advances in these multi-million dollar planes.

It discussed how our abilities to develop technology frequently out flank our human abilities to handle that technology. I admit that thought was a little worrisome as I approached Dr. Kunzler about my back.
Dr. Kunzler is so energetic and enthused about what he has been able to do with the machine under his control to alleviate pain and improve lives, that he literally grins from ear to ear. He understands the machine so well, and knowing how advanced these machines are, at times I have thought that he possibly might even be slipping in after hours to have little personal chats with the machines themselves to make sure that they are on the same wave length. Dr. Kunzler can't be everywhere, he has a lot of patients, but his office staff is literally an extension of Dr. Kunzler himself.
To get information out and get people that need him into the office, he has Nicole, the woman with the perpetual smile both on her face and in her voice on the phone. She is a people person that will do anything for you. If you did not know that she was at work, you would wonder if she is there just for the fun of it. She makes her work a pleasure and each of your visits the same.

The key to successful treatments beyond Dr. Kunzler is Dannelle. Sharp as a tack, trained to the hilt and perfectly competent in every way, her every movement is calculated, applied and assessed against her in-depth training. If she ever made a mistake once, it would not be repeated. If you put on your decompression belt slightly wrong, she will catch it and she will cinch it up properly or until you have a hard time breathing, whichever comes first. Questions concerning the treatments and the why's and why not's are just as easily answered by her as the doctor himself. Resultantly, any reservations that I ever had concerning human abilities to manage this amazing technology in Dr. Kunzler's office have been totally arrested.
After jumping over a fence more than 20 years ago and failing to cushion the fall with bent knees, off and on I have had insufferable pain and could go for weeks at a time not being able to stand up straight and walking like someone at least four times my age.

Seeking reprieve, I would painfully locate myself on the front room floor, and it did help. Getting off the floor was the problem. Offers for help were gratefully received, but completely unaccepted. One wrong, even though slight move, and the pain would just kill. Slowly and carefully and with considerable pain, I did it myself. One doctor sent me to bed for 6 to 9 months. That was ridiculous. X-rays taken then showed diminished disc spacing (herniated status), subsequent x-rays would soon reach cataclysmic, non-existent status and lead to repetitions of previous sieges of pain, or worse. I would do almost anything to avoid that!

Having completed 5 weeks of treatments, my back has never felt better. I know from muscle ashes associated with the treatments and some throbbing from my lower back that we have been dealing with the exact area where my pain originated year ago, not generally, but exactly.
I am looking forward to learning and continuing my exercises and coming back periodically for evaluations on those lower back discs following treatments. My confidence is strong. I recommend these life quality preserving treatments for all that sense a need.

First, I'd just like to thank Dr. Kunzler and his staff, Nicole and Danelle for giving me my life back. They all made my visits highly enjoyable and by the end they had become more friend than caregiver.

Before I started treatments on the DRX9000, I would have days where I couldn't even move. I would wake up in the morning and my legs would be numb, and I would get shooting searing pains up my back. I had to lay still all day long because it hurt too much to move. I was tired all the time because I would wake up every time I moved during the night because of the pain, so I would wake up either dead tired or in severe pain. I'm only 25 years old, so this was not appealing to me as what I wanted to be like for the rest of my life. I am a 75 year old, living in Ovid, Idaho. I have had pain in my lower back and down my right leg for the last 10 years. The last four years it got to be extreme pain that never let up. My back was going to dictate my future. I don’t think so!

The DRX 9000 is awesome and so is the staff. They say miracles don’t happen anymore. That is not true because the DRX 9000 is simply that—a miracle. I was in so much pain that I would have preferred to be dead. Lucky for me, I had a friend in the medical field with a patient who had been through Dr. Kunzler’s program. She told me I should have a chat with him. I did. Dr. Kunzler told my husband and me about this machine called the DRX 9000 and a program that could help thousands of people become pain free. Six weeks ago, I had severe pain down my left leg, and I was unable to sit or stand for more than twenty minutes at a time. Since my treatments (pulls) on the DRX9000 I can talk with joy of the success I have had. I am standing taller, straighter and able to walk faster. No more thoughts of back surgery. For anyone in doubt….JUST DO IT!

I've lived with back troubles for about six years. A twinge here, some pain there. Once in awhile it would get pretty bad after a round of golf, but get better over the next few days. Two years ago the pain became really intense in my lower back while recovering from a total hip replacement. The kind of pain where you don't even want to get out of bed because you know ever step is going to hurt.

Eventually, I went to a specialist and started to get injections in my spine ever couple of months to help get the inflammation down and ease the pain. I was also on a lot of pain pills. After I was to the point where the injections were not having any effect on me, it was time to investigate more options. I though about surgery. Fuse the disc? I really didn't want that because of possible complications down the road and the recovery time is pretty lengthy. I then flew to Texas to check on artificial disc replacement surgery. I was a candidate, but the surgery was about $40,000!! I hadn't won the Lotto yet, so I kept searching.

I saw the infomercial about the DRX9000 and immediately wrote down Dr. Kunzler's number. I was tired of living with the pain day after day. I called his office the next day and my life has changed ever since. I could feel a huge difference after just the second "pull". By the end of my treatments, I was feeling so much better and almost pain free. I have a good feeling I'll continue to improve over time.

Dr. Kunzler's staff have been amazing! Nicole, Suzie, and Dannelle (the DRX Queen) have been so knowledgeable and caring during every session. They really know how to put the patient first. I felt comfortable from day one.

For the last five years I have been living with back and leg pain and have been to several doctors trying to find some relief. Most of the relief I have received from other doctors has been in the form of pain and anti-inflammatory medications. A year and a half ago, I had surgery on my back to relieve pressure on the nerves that were causing my left leg and foot to be numb and causing me great pain. The surgery was not successful, so I remained on pain and anti-inflammatory medication. After a year, I had another examination and another MRI done on my lower back. The surgeon then told me that there wasn't any other surgery that he could do that would relieve my pain, and he prescribed more pain medication. Needless to say, I was very discouraged and didn't know what else I was going to do, the pain was continuing to get worse and it was getting harder for me to get around, I had tried about everything….so I thought.

About July 12, I was reading in the Standard Examiner and came across a small advertisement telling about a new procedure that could make you pain free without surgery. I called the number and made an appointment. After Dr. Kunzler examined me, he explained to my wife and I how the DRX9000 procedure worked and what it could do for me. Needless to say, after all of the doctors I had been to, we were a bit skeptical, but his explanation made sense, so my wife and I decided that I should go for it. I am very glad I was a candidate and could receive the treatments. I felt like this might be my last chance to become pain free. I am 74 years old.
Before I started the DRX9000 treatments, I told Dr. Kunzler my wife and I were scheduled to go on an Alaskan Cruise and couldn't cancel it. I also had concern about going because of the pain I was experiencing. Dr. Kunzler came up with the right solution. He said if you were my father, I would give you as many treatments as I could before you leave on this trip. I was given seven pull before I left, my pain was reduced from a 10 to a 4 or 5 level. We were able to have a very nice Cruise. I truly believe, had I not taken the treatments, I would not have been able to go.

I am in my last phase of treatments, and my pain has been reduced to between a 1 and 2 level. I am confident I will reach 0 pain by the time I complete the final treatments on the DRX9000, and the physical exercises and the spinal molding treatments. Dr. Kunzler and his two assistants have gone the extra mile to see that I reach it. They have treated me with kindness and respect.

Dr. Kunzler, words cannot describe the amount of gratitude I have after going through treatments on the DRX9000 machine. At the age of 35, I felt that I would be the last person for an extreme case scenario. Prior to my injury, I lead an active lifestyle, which included daily weightlifting, snowboarding, softball leagues and weekly wakeboarding. After several months of ignoring the slight pain and aggravation in my lower back, it completely disabled me after a day of wakeboarding. The DRX9000 is a remarkable machine! At the time I heard of it, I already had an appointment to see a back surgeon to see if anything could be done for the back pain I had endured for over fifteen years. As I was putting in a video for my grandchildren, Dr. Kunzler's infomercial came on the screen. Whey I called, they offered to send out an information packet. Because what they said sounded too good to be true, I was very skeptical that it would really work.

Prior to a fall on the ice about sixteen years ago, I was able to walk for about an hour at about 3.5 miles per hour. I had also been backpacking in the high Uinta Mountains for two different overnight trips with my husband and daughters. I stepped on a bumpy sheet of ice that was melting just enough to make it even slicker. Both feet went forward and I sat down hard enough that I fell all the way back and hit my head on the ice as well. My back was stiff and sore, but I thought it would get better by itself. It became gradually worse. Three years ago I was in am automobile accident in which a lady ran a red light and broad sided the car forcing my doors in about a foot. My back pain increased and I also had neck and shoulder pain. My doctor sent me to physical therapy. After about six months, I was only a little better, and the therapist said it might not get any better and I would just have to live with it. About a year after the accident, I had both knees replaced. My surgeon said that the knew surgery might help my back. It did!…..as long as I was on serious pain medication. AS soon as I was off the meds, the back pain cam back. Again, I was in physical therapy, first for my knees and then again for my back. My back was still no better. I was pain free as long as I was sitting or laying down, but the pain hit after about three or four minutes of standing or walking and intensified until I sat down again.

Now that I have completed my series of treatments on the DRX9000, my posture has improved! My husband no longer tells me I am walking bent over. I can stand or walk for about fifteen minutes pain free! I am hoping that the exercises prescribed by Dr. Kunzler and staff will still bring further improvements so that I will be able to walk longer and farther.
I have especially appreciated the kindness and patience of Dr. Kunzler and his staff! Nicole, Dannelle, and Suzie are friendly and helpful. They made my visits pleasant.

I started with a protruding disk in my lower back about twelve years ago. I did respond somewhat to physical therapy, as I have since with three more physical therapy treatments. But I was never totally free of pain.
My last MRI indicated the existence of three bulging discs. Then about two months ago I started having horrible nerve pain in my hips and legs. Nothing helped me except (to some extent) a constant diet of prescription Darvocet-N and Lortabs, and spending most of the day in bed.
With surgery pending, I saw Dr. Kunzler's advertisement in the Salt Lake Tribune. I had a very good feeling about what the DRX9000 and his expertise could do for me.

I live in Mount Pleasant and would have to travel 124 miles one way, but felt the sacrifice would be worth the benefit I would receive from his treatments. I could not have made a better decision. After just four treatments, I was no longer taking the medications. By the time I completed the DRX9000 treatment plan, I was virtually free of pain for the first time in twelve years.

My name is Jose Vigil, and I mistreated my body for many years handling first ammunition, than other freight of all kinds. Take it from me, there isn't a right way to lift your weight in tire boxes or bags, and I did weigh a lot less those days. And you just don't cut a 500 pound aircraft tire in half just to move it, but I did it many, many times a day (move those tires I mean). And after that, I operated a tractor and pulled airplanes around for about ten years, that was no fun. I would have to twist myself like a pretzel to back up some of those airplanes.

But now I've found something to correct that damaged spinal column. I'm not quite through with the process as of yet, but I'm a lot better than I was, and I expect to get even better.

As you know, I came to you after a reputable orthopedic surgeon had informed me my lower back was in terrible condition. Thanks for giving me a new lease on life. I've been living with horrible back pain, with no hope for ever getting rid of it with either taking large does of pain medication or back surgery. I was too scared of the concept of back surgery, I didn't even go and check that one out.
I tried everything from Chiropractic treatments, Physical therapy, Cortisone shots that would at times leave my legs numb. None of the above treatments ever lasted very long, if they helped at all. I was still left with a level 10 pain.

Officially diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, Degenerative Disc Disease in L4, L5 & S1 and Severe Arthritis in my lower back, I ended up on several doses of pain medication.

It wasn't until my mom saw the ad in the paper, "Back Pain Relief", that we called for a packet. We read the information and patient testimonials and then called for an appointment.

Although my back was a touch one you agreed to take my case. After several weeks of treatments my pain level has dropped to a dramatic Level 2.

My family has a history of lower back disc degeneration and I've had a very painful back for decades. I thought that I was destine to undergo surgery in the hope of living a normal, pain free lifestyle.

When I was 11 years old I had a severe case of spinal meningitis. Since then, back pain has been my constant companion for over 60 years. About six years ago I fell and broke two vertebra which has added to the aggravation. There have been many times when I would simply be walking down the street and suffer a spasm that would instantly immobilize me. I simply could not move. This always ended in a quick trip to the chiropractor's office for a temporary fix. I believe if it had no been for the chiropractors, osteopaths, and physical therapists, I would have been in a wheel chair before I was out of my teens. God Bless them all.

In early January, 2010, I was working with one of my clients who was familiar with my back problems. She was watching TV and heard Dr. Kunzler's commercial, so called me in to listen. I was impressed with what I heard so wrote down the phone number and called him from work. They sent their literature out right away. After reading about the DRX9000 treatments I called to make an appointment. On January 29th I began the treatments. With each one I noticed a change, quite a small change at first but after about 12 treatments there was a very definite change. "Within 3 treatments I was off the pain meds, and out
of the worst of the pain…"

Approximately 2 months ago, I was painting some walls in my house. Everything was going as usual, until I woke up the next day. My back was really hurting, so I decided to put the painting on hold for a few days. Instead of the pain getting better, it was getting worse. Over a period of about 2 weeks, the pain got to the point where I could only stand or sit for 1-2 minutes. If I walked, I could be up longer, however, that was only tolerable for 5-10 minutes. Laying down was the only relief I got.

I laid in bed for 2 weeks - taking time off from work and family duties. The improvement I was hoping for didn't come - in fact, I was worse. So I went to see my chiropractor. He advised me to get an MRI before he would do anything more to help. Because of our insurance plan I went to see my general practitioner first. He put me on 2 weeks of pain meds, which only helped for the first 2-3 days. The dosage had to be increased from there, and by the end of 2 weeks, my right foot was getting numb and the pain meds were barely working. I then received an MRI and was recommended for immediate surgery. I started searching out surgeons, and studying their success rates. My own mother had experienced back surgery, and had ended up bed ridden because of falling afterwards and breaking the rods. She also needed a lot more surgeries as other discs up her spine would rupture. I felt like I was doomed to the same life, and was not anxious to follow. During this research period, a friend of mine from California found AXIOM with the DRX9000 in her area. She was all set to start treatment and advised I look into it before I had anyone cut into me.

Soon I had an appointment with Dr. Kunzler in Layton, and knew this was the treatment for me! We started a few days later, and the results were immediate. Within 3 treatments I was off the pain meds, and out of the worst of the pain. I went back to work, took things slowly, wore my brace diligently, and rested every 2 hours. I was thrilled to be up and functioning (although, slower than normal) nevertheless up!!! Now I can shop, bake, entertain, garden, work, clean, teach, and sew. All these things I thought I'd never be able to do again. I find there is a limit, and my back lets me know when that is - but I feel great, and am excited to see continued improvement as I strengthen the muscles through the exercises I'll start soon.

Over the last couple of years I have been limited in the physical activities that I could participate in. Each time that I would get involved in any sport (i.e. basketball, golf, etc.) or for that matter running or spending time playing with my children, I would suffer the consequences of being injured or hurting for the next several days.

I decided that it was time to find out what was wrong with my lower back. In February of 2005, I went to my physician for a physical. They felt that it was imperative that I have an MRI done on my lower back. What came out of this visit was that I had two bulging discs at L4-5 and L2.
About this time, Dr. Kunzler wanted me to come in and see how I was doing. The x-rays showed that I had other problems in my lower back besides the bulging discs. Over the next 6-8 months we began working on fixing the lower back through the Pettibon System that Dr. Kunzler was doing in the office. Great strides have been made in this are to the point that a curve in the lower back was being formed.

However, this was still not able to fix the problems that I had relating to the bulging discs. Dr. Kunzler told me about a new machine that he was getting called the DRX9000 that would help in fixing this in the lower back. I was skeptical at first of trying this machine based on the cost of the pulls. Dr. Kunzler explained that the machine has an 86% success rate of making it so people can get back to a normal life. My first thought was that knowing my luck I would be one of the 15% that did not get fixed and it would be a waste of money. However, I was getting plenty close to having to have a back surgery that I decided that I would have to do research on the machine. I spent time looking at the materials that Dr. Kunzler had. Still I was not sure that this is what I needed to do. It wasn't until our family went on vacation to New York for 5 days. As with most vacations there was a lot of walking around - and the back started to hurt a lot. It was in New York that I thought that it was time to begin the treatment of the DRX9000.

When we got back from New York, I immediately informed Dr. Kunzler that I would begin the treatments on the DRX9000. I was tired of not feeling good and wanted to get back to doing things that I really enjoy doing. I was informed that this would be a big time commitment - 4 days a week for 5 weeks. And during this time that there should be little to no physical activity. I have followed the procedures that I was instructed to do.
Now that I am almost complete with the process, I can tell that the back is getting better. I have not been able to do a lot of physical activity, but I can feel that the back is better.

Most of the pain that I am experiencing is due to the muscles that have not been used for some time that with these being aggravated during the treatment.

The true test of the treatments will come over the next few weeks when I begin to get involved in physical activities. But for now I have felt great. I know that the problems with the discs are getting better - we have done tests that show that the machine has worked.
I would recommend this machine to anyone that has a problem with their back. I have seen people that have had back surgery and it never fixes the problem it only puts a bandage on what the problem is. This machine is the real thing. It will change your life.

When I came to Dr. Kunzler I had a herniated disc on L5. I had radiating pain down my right leg and was taking IB Profin two to three times a day to control the pain. Before coming to Dr. Kunzler I had a cortisone shot two different times to try and control my back pain. I had two options; surgery, or live with the pain. I really didn't want surgery so when I heard about the DRX9000 I figured I should try that first.
I really started to feel a difference after my 15th pull on the DRX machine. I noticed that I didn't have pain as much as I used to. I had stopped taking IB Profin during the day, and rarely at night to sleep. I am now finished with my pulls and am feeling wonderful! I am able to do a lot of the normal things I couldn't do before, and I am no longer taking any medication. The DRX machine has given me back my life, without ever having to have surgery. I am so glad that I chose to try this machine first!
